windowblinds 5 alpha question

has anyone been able to get WB5 from componant manager? I dont seem to be able to. i thought it was gonna be avail in alpha stage. any thoughts?

There's a problem with it on SMP machines we're trying to clear up.

Good thing my only SMP box is in parts missing a case and memory! =D

But then, it was only dual PPro 150's anyway - so you know - I'm in no big hurry to put it back together.

WOW! I guess I hit on a touchy question. Looks like im not the only one waiting for the new WB. And you hit right on kthxbye, we DO sound like "a bunch of ravenous feral dogs who haven't seen a scrap of meat in weeks" OH MY!

SMP - Symmetric Multi Processing/Processors/etc.

Fancy acronym (you know we love acronyms!) for saying "It's got more than 1 CPU in there."

at the risk of sounding rude, is this going to happen today or not? Im totally jazzed for this, but Im not going to bother looking anymore if were looking at a delay because of some SMP for a huge minority on an alpha build, or is this more along the lines of beta?

really hate to come off sounding as if I left my manners at the door, so I apologize, I'm just at a loss for a better way to word the question at the moment.
