I was confused as a child too, I had been told and raised to follow a tradition going way back, one based in unfounded tradtition! A pegan tradition. As I grew older and wanted to know the answers, I did research and ask a lot of ?'s. I have never found any "real" connection to a "bunny"a Easter bunny and spring or Easter. I understand about the eggs, I did that research and found plenty. Even "Christians" use resurrection eggs. We should inform Crissy, not jump all over her, because of one remark. Even non believers know something happened that changed the course of man and history, when the Son of man died and rose again. By the way, Good Friday, is called that because it is a refence to "God's Friday". I encourage any of you, do the research, like C.S. Lewis did, see what you find!

Werewold is also correct,we now use, gregorian calendars and have in the past used Myan time tables, so the date is not accurate. It is an observance of that event. Spring time was chosen because of the renewing of life, ie, the risen Christ!

maybe im misunderstanding your message. sounds like you're assuming I don,t think today is a holy day and all about bunnies and eggs. It so happens I am a Christin and celebrate the reserection of Christ today. I merely said "Happy Easter everyone" "Hope you all have a beautiful day".

Its all about a one on one if you want God he wants you. invite him in to your life or get splinters from sitting on the fence,After all it is a three in one deal you get the Father,Son and the Holy Spirit pretty good if you ask me

...this was what I was kinda advising against with my secondt post. The right person is gonna wander in soon and it is gonna be ugly. A lot of other religions would qualify for that definition of "splinters from sitting on the fence", can we please not get this started?
